Tim Slangen is a Grid Strategist at the Dutch distribution system operator Stedin, where he is responsible for policy and strategy development on Power Quality and Network Protection. He obtained his PhD degree from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2023, researching the effects of electric vehicle charging on power quality in cooperation with ElaadNL. Tim now applies the research insights to address the emerging challenges caused by the integration of renewable energy sources in the network and actively contributes to several working groups and projects in this domain.
