Mohseen is the Lead Protection, Automation & Control (PAC) Engineer within the SSEN Transmission Networks team. He actively collaborates with the innovation team, exploring the use of emerging technologies for SSEN Transmission’s current and future projects.
Presently, he is working on the groundbreaking project of delivering the first full digital substation implementation with a process bus, aiming to make this the standard practice.
Mohseen began his career in the Transmission sector shortly after graduating from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, in 2002. He is also a UK regular member for CIGRE B5.74, focusing on Busbar protection considerations when using the IEC 61850 process-bus.
