Markus is head of the “Smart Grid Network Technology” project team. In this role, he is responsible for the introduction of communication technologies for the digitization of the power grids within the E.ON DSO in low and medium voltage.
Employed in Bayernwerk (E.ON DNO) he is responsible for the strategic development of BPL technology for the whole E.ON Germany. This primarily affects the construction of a nationwide Powerline network.
He looks back on 10 years of development and supply chain experience in the semiconductor industry. Since 2010 he has held various positions in the E.ON Group in which he took responsibility for the development and introduction of communication technology for the digitization and smartification of power grids. Further on Markus is representing E.ON in BPL standardization groups PRIME Alliance and Home Grid Forum. Markus holds a master’s degree in Telecommunications (University of Stuttgart) and a Master Professional in Technical Management (CCI).
